 NADIA FAIRLAMB

Nadia is a Hawaii-based artist whose captivating work combines the natural beauty of the islands with design elements inspired by ancient cultural artifacts. Her artistic journey began on Fire Island, New York, where she first experimented with art under the guidance of her godmother, a professional oil painter. She later pursued formal training, earning a BFA in sculptural ceramics and archaeology in Texas, a passion further fueled by archaeological digs in New Mexico, Texas, and Central America.

Nadia’s current work incorporates fine tropical woods found in Hawaii, drawing on ancient design motifs to create harmony and movement through the repetition of cultural symbols. Her multi-layered sculptures feature a mix of materials, including mirror, glass, iridescent waxes, metallic foils, paint, and epoxy resin. These intricate pieces are primarily wall art but can also be adapted for table surfaces and screens, offering versatility for commercial and residential spaces.

Her art is showcased at prominent Hawaii art sales events, in collaboration with local galleries, interior designers, and international online platforms. Her pieces are part of the permanent collections of distinguished Hawaii collectors and are shipped worldwide. In 2019, Nadia received a three-year fellowship grant from the Clark Hulings Business Accelerator Program, which transformed her business. She now serves as an instructor and consultant for the foundation.

For Hawaii commercial clients, Nadia’s work offers an opportunity to bring sophistication, cultural resonance, and unique artistry into any space, creating a lasting impression on audiences locally and globally.
